Looking for a way to get involved? Do you have a heart for reaching at risk children and youth with the Gospel of Jesus Christ? GMTC Global is always looking for volunteers, and there are multiple areas and opportunities to serve.
US Summer Interns: We are always in need of interns to help at our Vacation Bible Schools at local churches. Many of our interns volunteer for only a week or two at a time, but we need help all summer. We are currently booked for the rest of July and are still accepting interns. If you are unable to volunteer this summer, we plan to be fully booked for most of June-July next summer as well. We can also help you partner with your local church to raise support for your summer internship with us.
Mexico Summer Missions Trip: We will be taking a team to Mexico this summer July 20th-24th. During this week we will travel to Juarez, Mexico and surrounding areas to conduct bible clubs. This is a great opportunity to provide support to our full-time team there and assist in sharing the gospel with children in Mexico. Being bilingual is not a requirement, but you will need a valid U.S. Passport Book or Passport Card.
Christmas Gift Project: Every year, our teams in Mexico, Cuba, and Pakistan distribute thousands of Christmas gifts at Christmas bible clubs. We accept donations to fund our Cuba and Pakistan projects, and we have several churches and individuals in the US that donate packed Christmas gifts for our Mexico project. We take a team to Mexico every year the second week of December to distribute over 5,000 Christmas gifts. Whether you choose to donate money, gifts, or join our team traveling to Mexico, this project is a great opportunity to share the love of Christ with children who might not receive a Christmas gift otherwise. Being bilingual is not a requirement to join our team traveling to Mexico this Christmas, but you will need a valid U.S. Passport Book or Passport Card.
Face Painting Evangelism: Learn to share the gospel while painting children's faces. We set up a booth at several fairs, events, and Trunk-or-Treat's each year to paint faces, and use the "Wordless Book" colors to share the gospel. We provide all the training you need!
