THE OUTREACH CENTER

            The GMTC Outreach Center is safe place that neighborhood children can come after school, free of charge.  The Outreach Center building is a gymnasium complete with basketball, air hockey, foosball, billiard table and several other games.  It is open Tuesday and Thursday from 3-5pm.

            Each day there are 2 Bible memory verses put up on the bulletin board.  If the child learns these verses, he/she is awarded “Bible Bucks” for each verse learned.  These “Bible Bucks” can be spent for candy and snacks at the Outreach Center store.  We only accept “Bible Bucks”.   Real money is not accepted.

            Each day at 4pm, we have “Storytime”, when the children come into the foyer area to hear a Bible story.  Each day the gospel is presented and a gentle invitation to receive Christ as Savior is given.  There is also a Christian growth principle from God’s Word in each lesson.

            Over the years, many children have trusted Christ as Savior at the Outreach Center.  Perhaps the most exciting part is that they continue to come and grow in their Christian lives.  Significant Christian growth has been observed in many of these children.
