MISSIONARY PROGRAM is for you!!
CONSIDER THE
TRAINING!!
June 4-8, 2012, Gospel Ministries to Children will provide intensive
training in all phases of the Summer Missionary Program.
This includes the preparation of a series of Bible lessons that teach
the Gospel and include teaching for the saved child as well.
Training is given for, counseling for salvation, memory verse
learning, song leading and multimedia presentations.
The training school staff will be compromised of experienced,
qualified teachers who desire to help you become an effective teacher of
God's Word to children.
A combination of classroom instruction, practice
teaching, and actually teaching children makes this training highly
effective.
CONSIDER THE
PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE!!
After the week of training, you will teach at
SUMMER CLUBS, SUMMER
CAMP and do EVANGELISM THROUGH FACE PAINTING for a period of 4- 8 weeks.
During the summer, you will both travel with our team and spend some
time at the “Gospel Ranch” Bible Camp.
A Summer Club is a neighborhood Bible class usually held in a Christian
home, park or apartment complex.
Children are invited to attend the one-hour-daily club for five days
(Monday-Friday). Many children
hear the gospel for the first time.
During the summer we will conduct several weeks of Summer Bible Camp at the
“Gospel Ranch” for inner-city children.
Children will be impacted for Christ through one on one interaction
with the Summer Missionaries and other Godly men and women.
Several times through the summer we have the opportunity to evangelize
children through face painting at fairs and rodeos across Texas.
Our largest outreach is on July 4th in Lubbock where about
1000 children hear the gospel in one day!
CONSIDER TRUSTING GOD FOR YOUR FINANCES!!
We will be trusting
God for the financial needs of your training, expenses and an honorarium.
This will be done by sending deputation letters to 30 or more of your
Christian friends and your local church.
This simply gives them the opportunity to be a part of your summer
ministry through prayer and giving.
A more generous honorarium will be sought for those in college.
There is no fee required to be a Summer Missionary.
Room and board is also provided free.
CONSIDER THE REQUIREMENTS!!
1.
You must be a committed Christian.
2.
You must be at least 16 years of age.
3. You must have a
burden for spiritually lost boys and girls.
4.
You must have a teachable spirit.
5.
You must be in agreement with GMTC's
Declaration of
Faith.
